What is Ringworm?
Ringworm is a general term for a common fungus infection on the skin. In scientific terms it is called ‘Dermatophytosis’. The infection is called ringworm, as it appears as round or ring like in shape. Pets, such as dogs or cats, may be a source of transmitting the disease to humans. Home remedies for ringworm are mainly items mixed or created in the home. The ingredients are usually found in the refrigerator or cabinet. A few of the home remedies for ringworm are in need of specialty items. Listed here are some of those mixtures and items. The first thing to try is a mixture of crushed mustard seeds. It seems that some of the remedies are made from very strong ingredients like peppers and mustard. It kills the fungus quickly.
Ringworm home remedies can penetrate your skin to kill the fungus that is deep rooted, and they can also be used on your nails and scalp without the need for any oral medicines. They have no side effects, and your health will not be affected either.
Take a few mustard seeds and powder them. Thereafter, make a paste using water. Apply the paste on the ringworm-affected area and see its wonderful effects.
Apply the juice extracted from the Holy basil leaves on the patch twice or thrice a day.
Prepare a paste from the seeds of the herb Butea and mix a little limejuice. This paste should be applied externally over the affected area. It is an effective home remedy for ringworm.
Apply the juice of the leaves of Holy Basil (tulsi) over ringworm patches. It is also very effective in ringworm treatment.
Raw vegetable juices, especially carrot juice in combination with spinach juice, have proved beneficial in the treatment of ringworm.
Miconazole (Monistat-Derm).
The seeds of the herb butea are valuable in ringworm.
Chewing Tobacco - Apparently you are supposed to wet the tobacco and leave it on the affected area overnight and then repeat it when necessary until the rash is gone.
Vinegar - Applying a small amount of vinegar to the ringworm supposedly clears it up within a few days. I couldn’t go into work smelling like vinegar.

1Ring worm has been a cause of councern for many youngesters and elderly folks and with the variety of creams which are suppose to help people in getting rid of ring worm problem it gets more confussing.
Anyways the tips and details are really helpfull. I have a blog on Acne
