Having blackheads is embarrassing, especially when you notice that people are always staring at them. Getting rid of blackheads can be a hassle and frustrating. So, what I’m going to do is share with you some home remedies to get rid of blackheads.
The remedies to get rid of blackheads are:
Using sorbitol or glycerin soap is one way to get rid of your blackheads. An example of this kind of soap is neutrogena. Use this soap to wash your face at least two times a day. This soap is gentle on your skin, so it shouldn’t make your skin dry or itchy.
Wash face daily with a mild cleanser and warm water. Be gentle. Don’t use bar soap on the face because it can clog pores.
Gentle exfoliants can be used to remove excess skin cells so they don’t clog up pores. This can also be a good blackhead home remedy if you do get blackheads.
Don’t use make-up on skin that is prone to blackheads. If you do use make-up, use a hypo-allergenic brand.
Avoid oily foods. Instead, eat foods high in beta-carotene, like carrots, cantaloupe.
The following blackhead removal treatment should be done no more than once per week. You will need a large towel, a large bowl of boiling water and a blackhead cleanser or wash. You can choose an over the counter blackhead remover for this or you can make your own using baking soda and water. Put boiling water into the bowl and put your face over it. Now cover your head with the towel and stay there for about five minutes. After your pores have opened up from the steam, gently use your OTC blackhead remover or your baking soda and water treatment.
Honey in every way is the gift of nature. It helps to clear skin, give it a fresh glowing look and prevent the formation of pimples, blackheads and whiteheads. It is also good to prevent early wrinkles. You can use it alone, or mix it with 4-5 drops of fresh lemon juice. Alternatively add a few drops of almond oil in honey. In each case make a paste and apply on the skin for 20 minutes. For best results repeat once or twice a weak.
A natural home remedy for blackheads is to exfoliate your skin to help prevent new blackheads from forming. You should consider one of the many exfoliating scrubs available on the market to help you cleanse your skin and clear your skin pores. Exfoliating is an important part of removing the excess oils and grime from your affected skin areas. Of the best home remedies for removing blackheads is honey. Not only is honey excellent for home remedies for removing blackheads, but it is also an excellent product to promote the general health of your skin.
